Multitechnique campaign of millimeter wave propagation by radiolink, radiometer and radar at 94 GHz

The authors have been carrying out millimeter wave propagation studies at the Institute of Radiophysics and Electronics, University of Calcutta for the last few years using a number of techniques including LOS link, radiometer and radars at a number of frequencies. These were supported by a 632.8 nm He-Ne laser optical link operating simultaneously. Such a multitechnique, multifrequency study of millimeter wave propagation revealed certain interesting propagation effects and also provided a better insight into some of the unusual effects. A few of the results are presented.<
