From control system design to embedded code: the synchronous data-flow approach

This paper presents the synchronous data-flow approach for designing and implementing safety critical control systems, and discusses the choices that have been made when designing it. It also discusses the reasons why this approach is still well-adapted to the challenges faced by designers todays.
