Evaluation of restoration capability and its application to distribution system operation

This paper presents a new concept of the restoration capability of the distribution feeder and proposes a methodology to evaluate it based on restoration conditions identified in this study. Some applications to the system operation in the normal and emergency states are described, which could increase the system reliability.
