Projecting and integrating fieldbus foundation function blocks

This paper describes the function block application process of the foundation fieldbus protocol, based on the inter relationship of function blocks, device description and object dictionary. Also is presented a method for projecting and integrating new foundation fieldbus function blocks, based on practical project experience and on the foundation fieldbus specifications and standards.
