Investigation of the Color Rendering of LED Luminaires for Human Centric Lighting

The current paper presents an investigation of the color rendering of LED luminaires for Human Centric Lighting. The color rendering index, colorfidelity index, gamut index, color quality scale and gamut area index are measured along with the spectral power distribution and correlated color temperature for each luminaire in two different laboratories. Based on the experimental results, a comment and conclusions are made, giving the basis for further experimental work, allowing better understanding of the color characteristics and parameters of LED lighting.
