The Loran C receiver for windfinding program

In this paper a conception of the Loran C receiver dedicated to windfinding purposes is described. The receiver is part of the weather observation system based on meteorological radiosonde launched by a balloon. In this concept a time differences of the Loran C signals received from the radiosonde are compared with the local Loran C signals. The receiver is composed from two main sections: analogue section and digital section Analogue section is based on superheterodyne Longwave AM receiver and for digital section a digital signal processor evaluation module is used.
