An assessment of a US Environmental Protection Agency information technology unit: aiming for optimal future performance

The EPA assessed a procurement information technology unit in 2000. Areas reviewed included: the appropriateness of its numbers of employees, its current skill mix, and other technology related issues. The assessment resulted in both short and long term recommendations, many of which were accepted and implemented.
