Phase dispersion optical tomography applied to study sub-cellular motions

Summary form only given. We present a novel phase sensitive imaging technique - phase dispersion optical tomography (PDOT), which totally eliminates interferometer jitter noise - the major source of phase measurement error in interferometers. The technique is based on a modified low-coherence Michelson interferometer. The input light is a pair of overlapped beams of laser light at wavelength /spl lambda/ and wavelength 2/spl lambda/.
