Impact of control theory on QoS adaptation in distributed middleware systems

This paper outlines an integrated and scalable control model for QoS adaptation, and show how it can benefit the quality control in distributed middleware systems. We have built a prototype of a middleware system, called Agilos, which verifies our control model and shows the soundness of our approach.
