The multifaceted peter swerling

As the banquet speaker for the 1975 International Radar Conference, Peter Swerling's fascinating talk about how he became involved in target fluctuation models, Jess Marcum’s gambling escapades, and his own education, was thoroughly enjoyed. Unfortunately it was not captured on tape, and no one thought to ask for a copy of his notes. I remember asking him about it again during the 1999 Radar Conference: at that time he indicated that he could not find them. They bear repeating.
