Modification of synthesis method for effective area singlemode optical fibre optimization

The modification of a previously proposed synthesis method is used. A Gel'fand-Levitan mathematical base for solution of the inverse problem of scattering in the non-relativistic quantum mechanic is also used. The law of refractive index profile in the cross-section of synthesized fiber upon its given characteristics is determined. The conditions for definition of spectrum function normalization factors of the synthesized waveguide are modificated. Input data for synthesis are an effective area and phase velocity, or mode field diameter and phase velocity of a fundamental mode of a synthesized fiber. It allows synthesizing single mode optic fibres (SMF) with the increased effective area and mode field diameter. Increasing of an effective area and mode field diameter we can reduce a light intensity in each point and, therefore, decrease nonlinear effects. The effective area characterizes parameter of non-linearity at the description of super short pulses (solitons) propagation in modern fiber optic telecommunication systems. The change of this parameter will allow optimising propagation conditions for solitons.
