Recent advance in microwave filter circuit design techniques: Control of attenuation poles in a two-stage combline BPF

Placement of attenuation poles on the frequency axis is investigated theoretically for a 2-stage combline BPF of planar structures. Triplate stripline configuration is especially taken as an example and the number of the poles as well as their relative frequency to the passband is shown for practically important structures.
