Comments on the “Second-Harmonic Generation Investigated by Topless Potential Well With Inverse Square Root”

We reveal several errors in a recent article by Q. Yu, K. Guo, M. Hu, and Z. Zhang “Second-harmonic generation investigated by topless potential well with inverse square root”, IEEE Photonics Technology Letters 31, 693-696 (2019)”. The mistakes are crucial and concern all parts of the article. As a result, the whole discussion is misleading, all the results reported are incorrect, and, hence, the article has no scientific value.
