Ceramic filled thermoplastic encapsulation as a design feature for a BLDC motor in a disk drive

In this paper, the design considerations and methodology for application of ceramic filled thermoplastic encapsulation to a prototype spindle motor intended for disk drive application are reviewed, with the intent of improving the performance of such devices, and reduction of their cost.
