Global teamwork for a global resource

OCLC used a team including two software-consulting groups-one in California and the other in New York-to build a new production system to produce multilevel, multilingual help and documentation for its FirstSearch service. For translations, the team included translators and reviewers in several countries. The principles for building effective teams across great distances are the same as those when building a team in your own building.
