This column was written just after the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) Electrical Safety Workshop (ESW) 2019, where 527 attendees from 13 countries gathered to teach and learn from each other about electrical safety. Discusses the need to develop a more global approach to IAS development and involvement.
