Welcome New IEEE WIE Chair Dr. Lisa Lazareck-Asunta [Women to Watch]

If you haven't met Dr. Lisa Lazareck-Asunta, who began her tenure as IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Committee chair in January 2019, then you may not know how many hats she has worn. Aside from being a wife and mother, her education and career path have provided her the opportunity to be an academic, a television host, a coder, a project manager, a grant advisor, and more. Through all of her roles, however, the common thread has been looking for chances to promote science and engineering and ways to help people. It's this action-oriented mind-set that she brings to IEEE WIE.
