Low-Loss, Low-Crosstalk, and Large-Scale Silicon Photonics Switch

We review research progress on the strictly-non-blocking optical switches based on the silicon photonics. The current switching performances including loss, crosstalk, bandwidth, and polarization insensitivity are summariz ed and their future prospects are discussed.
