Fracture of laminated steels at the dynamic loading

We carried out systematic research on the influence of the structure and dispersity layers on the behavior of the multilayer material at impact fracture. With increase of dispersity layers in the laminated steels, the energy of fracture is increased because of the more sluggish distribution of cracks, related to the effect of plasticizing and decrease of the component thickness. Phenomena of dividing into layers on the boundary of plies, and relaxation of stresses at the end of a crack in a weak layer, are developed.
