The IRIDIUM programme in the European PCN scenario

The paper reports on the activities carried out by Nuova Telespazio to support the technological development and the operations of the Iridium Programme. The role played by Iridium in the European PCN scenario is also briefly described with emphasis on market, regulatory and financial aspects.
