Mobile telephony: the main driver of Romanian telecommunications!

This article presents a survey of Romanian telecommunications: institutional reform, fixed and mobile telephony, cable TV, and Internet, as well as manufacturers. Potential competitors at market liberalization and some conclusions are also presented. The present status as well as trends in a fast developing market are considered.
