Computer vision based inverted pendulum

In this paper we present a new approach for the classical problem of controlling an inverted pendulum. The approach presented in this paper offers a new perspective to the problem by using a vision system as a visual encoder combined with a specific adaptive control technique simulated and controlled wing a graphical programming package.
