Three-dimensional measurement of induced magnetic anisotropy in plastically deformed Ne,Fe alloys

The mechanism of the induced magnetic anisotropy due to the plastic deformation in the Ni3Fe ordered alloy has been explained by the slip-induced directional order, the atom pairs would be rearranged across the glide plane and induce the magnetic anisotropy [1][2]. The roll magnetic anisotropy generates three-dimensionally however the investigation has been done mostly using the disc specimen [1][3]. In the present paper the dependence of the induced magnetic anisotropy on the plastic deformation is investigated by using the sphere specimens of the ordered Ni3Fe alloy. Our interest is the three dimensional observation of the induced anisotropy in connection with the slip systems.
