Call for nominations: for the GRSS Administrative Committee

The IEEE Geocience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) Nominations Committee calls upon our membership to nominate members to serve on the GRSS Administrative Committee (AdCom). A nominating petition carrying a minimum of 2% of the names of eligible Society members (~70), excluding students, shall automatically place that nominee on the slate. Such nominations must be made by 30 April 2018. The Nominations Committee may choose to include a name on the slate regardless of the number of names generated by the nominating petition process. Prior to submission of a nomination petition, the petitioner shall have determined that the nominee named in the petition is willing to serve if elected; and evidence of such willingness to serve shall be submitted with the petition. Candidates must be current Members of the IEEE and the GRSS. Petition signatures can be submitted electronically through the Society website or by signing, scanning, and electronically mailing the pdf file of the paper petition. The name of each member signing the paper petition shall be clearly printed or typed. For identification purposes of signatures on paper petitions, membership numbers and addresses as listed in the official IEEE Membership records shall be included.
