Flipped Classroom and Problem-Based-Learning in Higher Education

In the institutions of higher education has determined that one of the problems of the high rate of repetition or dropout rates lies in the methods used by teachers in their classrooms. This leads to a loss of resources for students, their families, educational institutions and the state. To correct these problems, new methodologies have been developed that use new information and communication technologies, but they are a replica of the traditional classes with the teaching resources uploaded to a computer or the internet. For this reason it is proposed the implementation of classroom inverted together with the problem based learning. This article proposes a method to create a structure and the resources required to carry out a course in Moodle with these two methodologies. The research has been carried out in the Universidad Tecnológica Equinoccial, in the course "office tools". The aim is to provide new methodological tools for teachers and students to improve their performance and the satisfaction of the same. And thus reduce the percentage of grade repetition and desertion rates.
