Improved GPS system performance estimation algorithm based on Gaussian sum filter

Considering the traditional Kalman filter is unable to meet the requirement of GPS system performance estimation, the GPS performance estimation algorithm based on Gaussian sum filter is proposed. The algorithm is to superpose multiple Gaussian distributions, that is estimating the state of each Gaussian distribution and then to approximately estimate the global state distribution in the form of cumulative sum. The experimental result shows that the algorithm proposed herein has reduced the estimation error of GPS system performance and achieved high computing accuracy.
