Orthotopic approach of set-membership parameters estimation for LPV system using fractional models

In this paper, a novel method of set membership identification for linear parameter varying (LPV) fractional system is presented, where the probability distribution of the disturbances is assumed unknown but bounded. In such context, the new approach consists of enclosing all feasible parameters by an outer orthotope. The performance of the new approach has been evaluated using a numerical example and a Monte Carlo simulation.
