Machine learning applications in supply chains: An emphasis on neural network applications

Machine Learning or the ability of a machine to learn automatically has garnered a lot of interest in the last years. It has proven to be a valuable tool for aiding decision makers and improving the productivity of enterprise processes, thanks to its ability to learn and find interesting patters in data. Thereby, supply chains can take advantage from Machine Learning to improve their productivity thanks to the better forecasts. As such, this paper examines multiple algorithms of Machine Learning and explores their applications for the various supply chain processes.
