Implementation of an adaptive filter robust to impulsive noise

The paper explains the comparison between adaptive algorithms like LMS, RLS and NLMS algorithms. Adaptive filters are used in many of the applications. This becomes essential which requires real time execution. But, the noise affects the appropriate filter operation. The major cause for signal distortion is noise. FPGAs are used in implementation of these filters. The two design processes which are involved in the implementation are namely, HDL and a high level synthesis design Tool.
