Design of On-Line Monitoring System for Wind Turbines Transmission Mechanism

In order to monitor faults in wind power equipment, an on-line monitoring system based on ADSP-BF518 processor was designed, which could cope with diversified status parameters of Wind turbines transmission mechanism. The on-line monitoring system can realize real-time monitoring of multiple transmission mechanism by means of the network communication. Using PC monitoring software, the status signal can be processed and the characteristic value of signal can be extracted. The application results showed the effectiveness of the monitoring equipment.
