Multivariable uncertainty quantification of transmission line field-to-line coupling based on stochastic collocation method

This paper presents an efficient statistical method for multivariable uncertainty qualification of transmission line field-to-line coupling. Random multivariable inputs cause uncertain responses at the ports of the transmission line. Both internal variables due to the transmission line geometrical parameters and external variables of the interference electromagnetic field should be taken into account. Stochastic collocation method (SC) allows a fast simulation for the multivariable uncertainty quantification and statistical analysis by polynomial approximation based on the original deterministic calculation. SC method has similar accuracy with Monte-Carlo method and is more efficiency when the dimension of the variables increases.
