Managing technical professionals: Things to remember (Part 2)

"MANAGING Technical Professionals: Things to Remember" was published in December 2016 and the article discussed the fundamental questions such as why "become a manager," and whether we are born with management skills or learn them. Dealing with the differences between management and leadership, presents the most challenging aspect of management and the differences common mistake made by managers. In this article, I would like to focus on things that managers should keep in mind: Accept the new role and responsibilities; make changes after becoming a manager; and learn how to improve people skills, delegate tasks, and always remember to use common sense.
