Adaptation of user behavior to the different level of tele-operation support

In the present study, the adaptation behavior of users to a different level of tele-operation support has been examined to evaluate the effect of an intelligent support system during the skill development phase. The primary concern is to examine the dependence of the operators' training procedure under situations where different levels of support function are present. The constraint-based support utilizing virtual force feedback has been devised with a different level of enforcement for the tele-operation system. The results of the experiments have shown some insights concerning the operators' behavior in a tele-operation task under different support conditions.
