A non-line of sight identification based localization method for wireless sensor network

WSN has been widely investigated in recent years. Localization is one of the crucial technologies in the subject of WSN. In this paper, we investigate the WSN localization problem which considers the white Gaussian noise and NLOS error. Firstly, the log-likelihood ratio method has been proposed to identify the NLOS measurement in the clutter environment. Then, the maximum likelihood localization method is used to estimate the position of node. The NLOS error is dramatically reduced through the proposed method. It could achieve better result than the classical methods. Finally, the simulation results show that the proposed method owns higher localization accuracy than other methods, especially in the environment with large NLOS error.
