Transformerless 4-leg current conditioner with voltage restoring capability

This paper proposes a transformerless 4-leg inverter, the multiple capabilities of which include current conditioning, voltage restoration and uninterruptible power supply. The effectiveness of the 4th leg is carefully outlined, while the system's general performance and flexibility is intensively investigated. Simulations are carried out and experimental results of a prototype are presented to validate the proposed approach.
