A novel profilometry with color-coded project grating and its application in 3D reconstruction

We propose a novel technique of surface profile measurement. The shape of an object can be obtained from a single image so it is suitable for human body measurement. Using the virtual reality modeling language (VRML) we can reconstruct the 3D human body on the Internet.
