Study on the Seismic Response of Polymer Anti-Seepage Wall

Polymer anti-seepage wall is a new technology for the reinforcement of earth dikes and dams. It has been widely applied in the reinforcement of earth-rock dams, which produces good social, economic and environmental effect and has the prodigious value of popularization and application. Aiming at the shadow area and application key point of the new technology-seismic response of polymer anti-seepage wall, the study is carried out. Using finite element software ABAQUS, the three-dimentional numerical calculation model of earth-rock dams with polymer anti-seepage wall is established with consideration of the elastoplasticity of earth rockfill materials and contact elements between the dam and the wall. The seismic response of polymer anti-seepage wall is researched including stress, acceleration and displacement. The related laws of seismic response of the wall are obtained in the article.
