Modelling the ignition system of combustion engines with two-port network

The aim of the paper is to develop a model of the ignition system for combustion engines with spark ignition described by two-port network equations. The mathematical calculations based on generalized parameters of a two-port network were used to develop the model. This allowed for the analysis of voltages and currents on the terminals of the model (without calculating voltages and currents inside the two-port network). The results of simulations for the developed model are presented.
