Symmetric encryption algorithm using graph representation

Huge amount of data are generated and transmitted over the world each second. Transmitting the data over the network and using the data in the applications create a need to protect this data from unauthorized entities, especially if this data are sensitive or confidential. Many techniques were used to protect the data such as Encryption. Encryption is a very popular technique was used to protect data by converting it from a readable form to unreadable form. Encryption methods are divided into two main categories Symmetric and Asymmetric. This paper produces a new symmetric encryption algorithm using graph representation. The proposed algorithm encrypts text by converting it to a graph represented by adjacency matrix.
