Fully integrated sub-threshold body biased low noise portable ECG frontend

Proposed ECG frontend is operated in Subthreshold region and body bias to achieve low voltage and low power requirements. In this paper, portable ECG front-end design is proposed with low noise at a lower frequency and eliminated unwanted signal. In this design chopper technique and positive feedback loop will play a major role in reducing the noise and high input impedance respectively. It also provides filter behavior with including capacitively coupled technique. Body Bias Sub-threshold ECG frontend design with UMC 180nm CMOS technology which achieves the programmable gain of 15.56dB to 40dB @15Hz to 200Hz, CMRR of 110dB, the input-referred noise of <164nVrms and power of 960nW@0.8V.
