The novel two layer adaptive algorithm for phase array radar system

The phase array has widely practical application. One of the most important parts is to perform the direction of arrival estimation. In addition, the side lobe performance is also very important to phase array radar. In this paper, the novel two layer adaptive algorithm is proposed to maintain good pattern. In addition, the derivation of the adaptive weight is shown. The simulation results validate that the proposed scheme has good performance.
