Electromagnetic scattering from a pec target over a random rough sea surface using hybrid KA-PO-PTD method

In this paper, radar echo width (REW) of a 2-D PEC target with tow edges situated over a random rough sea surface is analyzed by a combination of hybrid Kirchhoff approximation, physical optics and physical theory of diffraction (KA-PO-PTD) methods. The results are compared with those of conventional method of Moments (MOM). The effect of the target-surface configuration and wind speed on the REW of the composite geometry is studied.
