High precision monitoring of plant water status using THz time-domain spectroscopy

THz time-domain spectroscopy is a promising method for drought stress monitoring in plants. In this paper we analyse leaf transmission THz time-domain for physiological range of leaf water contents. In addition, a realistic multilayers leaf model, was developed to improve the estimation of leaf water status as compared to commonly used single layer models.
