A greenhouse system control based on a PSO tuned PI regulator

This work develops a solution for greenhouse climate control employing a online PI tuned with PSO algorithm. Knowing that the greenhouse model has a high strong coupling and non-linearity, a feedback-feedforward linearisation and decoupling method employing measured disturbances is used. The present controller is made in terms of several performance criteria like settling time, peak overshoot, rise time. In addition to the responses due to step input. Results show that the tuning PSO-PI using in this work has a perfect performance.
