Modeling and optimal torque control of small wind turbines with permanent magnet synchronous generators

It's a modeling of a small Variable Speed Wind Turbine coupled to a multi-pole permanent magnet synchronous generator to supply a DC Load. The aerodynamic model converts the kinetic power of the wind into a mechanical power illustrated in a rotational speed of the rotor and transmitted to the generator by a rigid shaft of one degree of freedom, it's the model of a gearless one masse drive train connected to the PMSG to produce electrical power. The PMSG is then controlled to produce maximum electromagnetic torque with minimum stator current by applying the Zero d-Axis current control and the optimal torque control allows us to obtain the maximum mechanical power from the wind turbine. This system of a small Wind Generator is modeled to supply a DC Load and simulated on the environment of Matlab/Simulink.
