General specification for a diagnosis aid system of human esophagus tumors

This paper discusses several aspects concerning a diagnosis aid system of esophagus tumors from endosonographic sequences. The question of the aid system role in the clinician diagnosis elaboration is discussed. After a general presentation of the expert reasoning key elements, levels where the practitioner can be assisted are examined. Several features of the system are evoked and hypotheses about its components (case based reasoning) are considered.
