A solid-block FT-NIR spectrometer for measurement of analytes in cell culture media

A solid-block FT spectrometer was developed for noninvasive monitoring of analytes in cell culture media. At present, the device was tested in the visible range, and shows the potential for monitoring without the need for moving parts such as in classic moving mirror FTIR.
