Ultrasound Image Features Detection Using Phase Congruency Based Dimensionality Reduction

Feature detection is the primary image processing operations, but it is very important. Feature detection algorithms can be applied to the detection of man-made image, which can also detect ultrasound image. This paper proposes a new detection method using phase congruency based on dimensionality reduction. We focuses on phase congruency in the ultrasound image. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm detects ultrasound image with clear edge and contour, beneficial to process later.
