Finite-horizon H∞ state estimation for complex networks with redundant channels

This paper is concerned with the finite-horizon H_∞ state estimation problem for time-varying complex networks with redundant channels. The redundant channels are employed in the data transmission to against the fragility of communication networks commonly configured by the single channel subject to data missing and uniform quantization effects. The aim of the addressed problem is to design an estimator such that the H_∞ disturbance attenuation level is guaranteed for the estimation error dynamics over a given finite horizon. By employing the stochastic analysis approach and completing squares method, the desired estimator gains are characterized by solving two coupled backward recursive Riccati Difference Equations (RDEs). Finally, a numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the results.
