Three modelling and simulation methods for shock acceleration signal reconstruction

For impulse response test of weapon structure, different installation ways of the acceleration sensor will seriously affect the linear bandwidth of measurement, the high frequency nonlinearity of the measurement system is prominent, which causes the serious distortion of test signal. To improve the linear bandwidth of the impulse measurement system and improve the measuring accuracy of the impulse response signal, the Levy frequency domain model, frequency domain interpolation and time domain model method are applied to identify the acceleration sensor installation system. Based on these methods, the inverse filter signal processing technique is used to reconstruct the measured distortion acceleration signal so that the reconstructed signal is closer to the real response signal of structure impulse. The basic principles of the three model methods and their inverse filter performances are studied in detail in MATLAB. With inverse filter impulse signal reconstruction test, it shows that the interpolation frequency inverse filter method is the best and effective signal reconstruction method, it can restore impulse response signal with frequency within 15 kHz correctly. However, Levy model and time domain method also can be used to reconstruct impulse signal, but the reconstruction accuracy relatively is poor.
